POW/MIA
A lot of people don't know that we have a live POW still being held in Afghanistan. Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was captured 30 June 2009. We are coming up on the 3 year anniversary of his capture. Crossfit worldwide is doing a special WOD for Bowe on 30 June to raise money and awareness. I'll be participating here in Boise with a POW/MIA bike ride to the event. My distant cousin was listed as MIA/POW from Pork Chop Hill, Korea, 1951. Very recently, his bone fragments were matched by DNA testing, and PFC Herman Phy, is now properly interred in his home town of Philadelphia, Pa.
